There’s no flat rate for tree work — the price reflects the job in front of us, and it varies a lot from one service to the next. We give a firm written quote after a free on-site visit, but in general these are the factors that move the number on any tree job:

• Size of the tree. Height and trunk diameter drive the time, equipment, and disposal involved.
• Location and access. A tree in an open yard is simpler — and less expensive — than one hemmed in by a house, fence, power line, or narrow side yard.
• Condition. A dead, split, or leaning tree calls for extra care and rigging compared with a healthy one.
• Equipment needed. Some jobs are hand-and-rigging work; others call for a bucket truck or a crane, which changes the setup.
• Cleanup and extras. Haul-away is always included; stump grinding, chips, or firewood are your call and factor into the quote.

Every job we do — a single pruning visit or a multi-day removal — follows the same straightforward path:
